Financing / Scholarships

Germany strongly believes in the profit of making higher education available to all talented and interested students independent of their financial background. While remaining politically independent, public institutions of higher education are subsidized by the government and generally do not ask for tuition fees. Therefore, excellent Quality education can be offered at very affordable cost. Further, a number of scholarships are on offer for national as well as international students.

Please note that the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) generally does not sponsor students, who are still obtaining their first degree, but there are a few other institutions who will. If you are considering to apply for a scholarship, remember to start the process in due time (at least six months prior to your intended start of study). Find out if you qualify for a scholarship here .
