On Monday, June 15, the German Ambassador, Dr. Bernd von Münchow-Pohl had the pleasure to hand-over 3000 surgical masks and 1500 KN-95 masks as well as 10 contactless Thermometers...

On Monday, June 15, the German Ambassador, Dr. Bernd von Münchow-Pohl had the pleasure to hand-over 3000 surgical masks and 1500 KN-95 masks as well as 10 contactless thermometers which were procured under a grant of over 10,000.00 USD under the Embassy’s small scale project regime with BHC as project partner.

Present to receive the equipment were the Hon. Kenneth Benjamin, OJ, CD, LLD (Hon), Chairman BHC, Mrs. Camile Wallen Panton, the hospital’s CEO, Dr. Michelle-Ann Richards-Dawson, the Senior Medical Officer, Mr. Anthony Wood, Parish Manager KSAHS and Ms. Beverly Senior, the Director of Nursing, as well as other staff from BHC.

All expressed their gratitude for this donation for BHC and that it would greatly assist in the day-to-day work at the hospital.

The Hon. Kenneth Benjamin, OJ, CD, LLD (Hon) expressed thanks as well on behalf of the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

Ambassador Dr. von Münchow-Pohl in his remarks expressed his pleasure that the Embassy could partner with BHC to realize this worthwhile project and assist albeit on a small scale the hospital’s fight against the SARS-COV-2 Virus.
