The Jamaican Ministry of Health and Wellness has advised that effective March 10th 2020, Germany has been added to the list of countries for which travel restrictions have been imposed.

Visa applicants are therefore advised to plan their travel to Germany and Italy accordingly.

Applicants with valid visas are advised to consider the necessity of travel at this time and the plausibility of your travel documents.

Please be aware that you will be subject to health assessment and quarantine when re-entering Jamaica following your visit to or transit through these countries.

Visas which have already been issued cannot be extended and visa fees are not refundable.

Due to these circumstances, the German Embassy wishes to remind the public that it reserves the right to request additional information for the processing of a visa application.
