The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Kingston is looking for an experienced
and proactive Housekeeper to join the team at the Ambassador’s residence.

Key Details:
• Start Date: 1st January 2027
• Duration: Fixed term of 12 months (with the possibility of extension)
• Working Hours: Part-time (28 hours per week)

Your Tasks:
• Ensure the residence and its annexes are thoroughly cleaned and well-maintained.
• Support official events (e.g., coordinating with caterers, setting tables).
• Provide backup support for the cleaning staff at the Embassy when needed.

Your Profile:
• Proven experience as a housekeeper or cleaner
• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• A reliable, honest, and discreet personality with a positive team spirit.
• Strong organizational skills and a service-oriented mindset.
• Flexibility regarding working hours and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Jamaican nationality or a valid work and residence permit for Jamaica.
